NJ Community and Corrections Working Summit: Impacting Communities of Color; PLANNING HISTORY Support Kids At Risk (S.K.A.R.) Program was created with the assistance of clinically trained volunteers and inmate participants. S.K.A.R. members share and describe how their life experiences & mistakes led them to prison. The purpose of the S.K.A.R. Program is to educate and inform today's youth and youth serving providers about the consequences of criminal and anti-social behavior. This phenomenal message was created by the Hispanic Americans for Progress Self Help Inmate Group and New Jersey State Prison.
